Ingredients for Puff Pastry Swirls with Zucchini
- 1 puff pastry (rectangular)
- 1.1 lbs zucchini
- 1 cup ricotta
- 4.2 oz cooked ham
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pinch pepper
How to Prepare Zucchini Puff Pastries
Wash the zucchini. Trim the ends and cut them into very thin slices lengthwise using a vegetable peeler or mandoline
Mix the ricotta in a bowl with a pinch of pepper and the grated Parmesan cheese.
Roll out a rectangular puff pastry sheet on the work surface. Spread the ricotta cream all over the surface
Cover with the zucchini slices to cover the entire surface slightly overlapping them.
Now cover with the slices of cooked ham. Roll up the puff pastry from the longer side using the baking paper
Cut slices about 3/4 inch thick. Arrange the Zucchini Swirls slightly apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, slightly spreading them.
Bake the Puff Pastries with Zucchini in a preheated static oven at 375°F for 20-22 minutes
