Ingredients for the zucchini side dish

  • 1.1 lbs zucchini
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 7.05 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 sprig basil
  • to taste salt

How to prepare Zucchini with cherry tomatoes in the pan

  • Wash the zucchini. Trim the ends and cut them into not too thin slices. Also wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into 4 pieces.

  • Pour 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil into a pan. Add the garlic clove and let it sauté over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Also add the zucchini to the pan and let them cook over medium heat, stirring them often with a wooden spoon for about 8 minutes.

  • Remove the garlic clove. Adjust the salt and add the cherry tomatoes to the pan. Let them cook for another 6-7 minutes, stirring often. At the end of cooking, add fresh basil leaves.
