To make it we just need two zucchini, oil, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. First, we need to cut the zucchini in half, making crossed cuts to form a checkerboard pattern without cutting through the outer skin.

Let’s start preparing the checkerboard zucchini in the air fryer. Wash the zucchini, remove the ends, and cut them to form a checkerboard pattern with crossed cuts without cutting through the outer skin.
Now finely chop the garlic and parsley or other aromatic herbs like mint, basil…. Add the salt and pepper.
Open the cuts slightly so the parsley… salt and pepper can penetrate, then sprinkle some extra virgin olive oil
Place the zucchini in the air fryer’s basket
Cook in the air fryer at 356 °F for about 10-12 minutes or until the desired browning.
We can also bake the zucchini in the oven at 302 °F for 15-20 minutes.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve our delicious checkerboard zucchini
