Chicken Strips with Mushrooms is a delicious main course that we can cook for a family dinner but also when we have guests. For this recipe, I used chicken breast and champignon mushrooms, but we can make it with different parts of the chicken or turkey and other types of mushrooms, such as porcini or pleurotus.
If you don’t have fresh mushrooms, you can use frozen ones instead.

- 1 clove garlic
- 2.8 tbsp white wine
- extra virgin olive oil

Let’s start preparing the chicken strips with mushrooms; let’s start with the mushrooms. Cut the earthy stem part from the champignons and clean them with a damp cloth.
Then slice all the champignon mushrooms.
Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and the garlic into a pan and let it flavor. Add the mushrooms and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring often.
Once cooked, turn off the heat and set aside.Now let’s move on to the chicken: first of all, cut the chicken slices into strips.
Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil into a pan and cook the chicken strips over low heat. After about 10 minutes, deglaze with white wine and continue cooking for another 10-15 minutes.
After the time has elapsed, add the mushrooms to the chicken and let everything flavor.
