Ingredients

LET’S SEE WHAT WE NEED TO PREPARE

  • 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.28 oz fresh yeast
  • 1.06 oz granulated sugar
  • 0.11 oz salt
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tsp milk

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Pizza cutter
  • 1 Baking sheet

Steps

Let’s start preparing

  • Let’s start preparing the very soft homemade rolls: pour all the ingredients into a bowl except the butter and begin mixing with the help of a spoon.
Then transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface, add the softened butter and continue kneading the rolls until you have a homogeneous dough. Return it to the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise.

  • Let the dough rise until doubled, and only then transfer it again to a lightly floured work surface. Divide the dough into 12–15 portions and, using the palms of your hands, shape small balls. Place them on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then let them rise again for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, brush the rolls with milk and egg, then bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 14 minutes.

    Enjoy!
