Oven-baked lasagna rolls with ham, cheese, and béchamel are a delicious and easy main course perfect for Sunday lunch but also for a festive occasion. The ready-made fresh pasta sheets are filled with a layer of creamy homemade béchamel, cooked ham and provolone slices, rolled up, and then cut into rolls.
Once ready, just arrange the rolls upright in a baking dish and cover them with plenty of bèchamel and grated Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz lasagna
  • 5 oz cooked ham
  • 5 oz provolone cheese
  • 3.5 grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1.75 oz flour
  • 3.5 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups milk

Let’s start preparing

  • Let’s start making the lasagna rolls; first, prepare the bèchamel here how to do it

    Now assemble the rolls of lasagna; place the lasagna sheets on the work surface and spread the bèchamel leaving about half an inch from the edge.
    Place a layer of cooked ham and a layer of very thinly sliced cheese
    Roll the lasagna from the short side to the end then cut it into 3 parts

  • Make a small layer of bèchamel at the bottom of an oven dish and as they are ready, place the lasagna rolls upright in the dish.

    Cover with the remaining bèchamel, sprinkle with a generous handful of grated Parmesan cheese.

    Bake in a static oven at 392 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes, turning on the grill 5 minutes before taking it out.

    After the cooking time, take the lasagna rolls out of the oven and serve at the table

Marge’s Tips

The lasagna rolls can be stored in the fridge for two or three days in an airtight container.

The fresh lasagna can be used directly without pre-cooking in water.
