Puff Pastry Calzone, filled with ham and cheese, tasty and very easy to prepare; ideal to serve for dinner or as an appetizer. The puff pastry calzone is great when you don’t have time to cook but still want to eat something good, it is prepared in a short time and is fabulous. I made the calzone with what I had in the fridge, you can vary the filling as you like or with what you have in the fridge, basically you can get creative as you prefer.

- 1 roll of puff pastry (round)
- 3.5 oz ham
- 3.5 oz emmentaler

- 1 Knife

Let’s start preparing
Let’s start preparing the puff pastry calzone: gently unroll the puff pastry leaving the baking paper underneath.
Fill half of the pastry with slices of ham and cheese.
Fold into a calzone covering the filling with the other half of the pastry and seal the edges well.
Transfer the calzone onto the baking tray leaving the baking paper underneath and prick the surface with a fork.
Bake in a preheated oven and cook at 392°F for 20/25 minutes.
Remove from the oven when the calzone is nicely browned and let it cool slightly.And enjoy your meal!!
