  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 3 zucchini
  • 5.6 oz canned tuna
  • 7.1 oz scamorza cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil

Steps

Let’s start preparing

  • Let’s start preparing the savory pie with zucchini; wash the zucchini, cut them in half lengthwise, and slice them into chunks or slices

    Pour the extra virgin olive oil into a frying pan and sauté a garlic clove. Once it’s golden, remove it and add the zucchini

    Adjust the salt and let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring often with a wooden spoon. Once cooked, remove from heat and let cool.

  • Pour the zucchini into a bowl, add the shredded tuna, well-drained from its oil, and the scamorza cheese in pieces.

    Mix all the ingredients well.

    Unroll the puff pastry with its parchment paper inside a 9.5-inch baking pan in diameter, and pour the zucchini and tuna mixture inside, distributing it evenly with a spatula.

    Fold the edges over the filling and bake in a static oven preheated to 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

    After the cooking time, remove the savory pie from the oven and let it cool. Unmold it onto a serving dish, and serve.
