All you need is a sheet of puff pastry to prepare a delicious treat quickly, perfect for tea time or a buffet!

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry (rectangular)
  • as needed strawberries
  • as needed powdered sugar
  • 1 cup custard

  • 1 Baking pan

  • 1 Parchment paper

Steps

Let’s start preparing the

  • Let’s start preparing the strawberry and custard brioche: first, prepare the custard and let it cool well

    Take the puff pastry from the fridge and spread it out on the work table

  • Spread the now cool custard onto the puff pastry and spread it evenly.

    Now add the chopped strawberries on top of the custard.

    Roll the puff pastry on itself and with a sharp knife cut the brioche.

    Place the brioche on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them well. Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes

    When they are puffed and golden, remove them from the oven and let them cool on a rack and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
