Let’s start preparing tomato pastina: chop the onion, carrot, celery and cook the sauté in a large pot with a little olive oil.
Add the tomato sauce and let it flavor for a few minutes.
At this point, add the pastina, cover with vegetable broth or hot water and cook, stirring the pasta as if it were risotto. Stir occasionally.
Cook for the time indicated on the package, and if necessary, add more broth or hot water. The tomato pastina is ready; serve it immediately.
