Steps for Preparing Whole Wheat Honey Cookies

Let’s now prepare the whole wheat honey cookies. We will first see the traditional method in a bowl. At the end of the recipe, I will also describe the method for preparing them with the Bimby.

  • Take the egg out of the fridge to bring it to room temperature. If the honey is crystallized, you can warm it for a few minutes in a bain-marie to make it liquid again.

  • In

  • a bowl, put the egg, honey

  • and oil. Mix vigorously with a hand whisk to emulsify the ingredients.

  • Add the vanillin and mix again.

  • Also, add the whole wheat flour and sifted baking powder.

  • Mix the dough with the whisk as long as you can. Then continue with a spoon or by hand.

  • Mix the ingredients until you form a dough.

  • Prepare a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Make balls weighing about 25 g, flatten them slightly, place them on the tray, and sprinkle them with a bit of brown sugar.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 340°F for about 13 minutes. When they start to be golden, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely.

  • You can prepare whole wheat cookies with the Bimby. Let’s see the procedure.

Put in the bowl, the egg, oil, honey, and vanillin: 30 sec. speed 3.

Add the whole wheat flour and a teaspoon of baking powder: 30 sec. speed 2.

Create balls weighing about 25 g, place them on a tray covered with parchment paper and slightly flatten them. Sprinkle the surface with brown sugar and bake in a hot static oven at 340°F for about 13 minutes. The Bimby whole wheat honey cookies will be ready when they start to be golden.
