- 2 eggs
- 4.2 oz granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 vial lemon flavor
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Golden apples
- 1 packet baking powder

Steps
To prepare the apple cake in an air fryer, crack the room-temperature eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and lemon flavouring. With the help of a mixer, start whisking the mixture at maximum speed until it becomes light and frothy.
Then add the oil in a stream and the milk (at room temperature). Sift the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon and add them little by little to the mixture, continuing to stir.
Wash the apples, peel them: cut one into pieces and the other into slices. Add the diced apple to the batter and mix well.
Now take a baking pan suitable for cooking in an air fryer (I used an 8×8 inch pan) and line it with baking paper. Pour the batter into the pan and, if necessary, use a spatula to distribute it evenly.
Decorate the surface with the apple slices, pushing them slightly into the batter. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F for 3 minutes, then bake the cake at the same temperature for 20 minutes. After this time, lower the temperature to 300°F and continue baking for another 5-10 minutes.
To check if it’s cooked, do the toothpick test: insert it into the center of the cake and, if it comes out dry, the cake is ready. Otherwise, extend the baking time by 2-3 minutes.
