Air Fryer Chicken Thigh Cutlets

A burst of flavor and crispiness, with a tender and juicy heart! Air fryer chicken thigh cutlets, naturally tastier and softer compared to breast, are carefully breaded with a golden and fragrant coating, then cooked in the air fryer for a light yet irresistibly crunchy result. Without excess oil, but with all the flavor of tradition. Perfect for a delicious lunch or a quick dinner, to be accompanied by fresh sides or rustic fries. A delightful treat, ready in minutes!

And here are some tasty sides you can pair with the cutlets:

Air Fryer Chicken Thigh Cutlets
  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Very Economical
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 People
  • Cooking methods: Air Frying
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 egg
  • to taste breadcrumbs
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Tools

  • 1 Oil Sprayer
  • 1 Air Fryer

Steps

To prepare air fryer chicken thigh cutlets, first place the breadcrumbs in a bowl and the beaten egg with a couple of pinches of salt in another.

Dip each chicken thigh in the beaten egg and then coat in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly covered on both sides.

Before placing the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, use a sprayer to apply a little extra virgin olive oil evenly on both sides (if you don’t have a sprayer, you can use a brush).

Put the chicken thigh cutlets in the air fryer basket (preheated for a couple of minutes) and cook at 374°F for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through. Cooking time may vary depending on the power of your air fryer and the thickness of the cutlets.

Once cooked, remove the chicken thigh cutlets from the air fryer and serve hot.

Storage

I recommend storing the raw chicken thigh cutlets for a maximum of one day in the refrigerator in an airtight container and cooking them at the time of consumption.
