Steps
To make the air fryer salmon, start by preparing the breading: in a bowl, pour the breadcrumbs, finely chopped parsley and rosemary, oregano, the juice of half a lemon and mix everything with a spatula or fork. Depending on your taste, you can add a minced garlic clove (just one).
Add 1-2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to the breadcrumbs, you should get a moist mixture.
Lightly oil the salmon fillets, add a bit of salt, and massage carefully. Distribute the prepared breadcrumb mixture over the salmon fillets and ensure it sticks well.
Place the fillets inside the air fryer basket and cook at 356°F for 12-15 minutes and another 2-3 minutes at 392°F. The cooking time depends on the thickness of the fillets.
Your salmon fillets are ready to be enjoyed, serve them hot.
Storage and Tips
Air fryer salmon fillets can be stored in the fridge for up to one day in an airtight container. Before serving, reheat for a few minutes.
You can replace the lemon juice with white wine. Additionally, if you love a stronger and spicier taste, you can add paprika or chili pepper to the breading.
