Ingredients

  • 6 sausages
  • 1.1 lbs potatoes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • to taste salt
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil

Steps

To prepare baked sausage and potatoes, first wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks (if you have time, you can soak the potatoes in water for a couple of hours in the fridge) and dry them with a kitchen towel.

Place the potatoes in a bowl and season them with chopped rosemary, salt, the garlic clove with the core removed, 3/4 tablespoons of oil and mix everything together.

In a baking tray lined with parchment paper, pour the potatoes and bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, add the sausages (pierce them with a fork) to the potatoes and continue cooking at 392°F for another 20 minutes. Turn the sausages halfway through cooking.

Your sausages are ready to be served at the table, make sure they are hot.

Baked sausage and potatoes can be stored in the fridge for up to a day in an airtight container. Before consuming, reheat in the oven or in a pan for a few minutes.
