Ingredients

  • 16 shrimp
  • 1 clove organic lemon zest
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste white wine

Tools

  • 1 Baking tray

Steps

To prepare baked shrimp, start by cleaning them: use a toothpick to make a small incision on the back and remove the intestine (the black thread). Do not remove the head or the shell.

In a bowl, place the shrimp and add extra virgin olive oil, the garlic clove with the core removed and halved, salt, grated lemon zest, and chopped parsley. Gently mix everything to evenly distribute the seasoning.

Transfer the seasoned shrimp to an oven-safe baking tray, add a couple of tablespoons of white wine, and bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 10 minutes. Halfway through cooking, baste the shrimp with the cooking juices using a spoon.

Once the cooking time has elapsed, remove from the oven and serve the shrimp hot to your guests.

Storage

Consume the baked shrimp immediately after removing them from the oven. If any are left over, they can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for one day.
