- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 2 People
- Cooking methods: Air frying
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 4 eggs (medium)
- 4.5 oz linguine (or spaghetti)
- 0.53 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
Tools
- 1 Oil Sprayer
- 1 Air Fryer
- Parchment Paper
- 1 Baking Pan
Steps
To prepare the pasta frittata in the air fryer, start by cooking the linguine. Place a pot with plenty of water on the stove, and when it boils, add salt and drop in the linguine. Drain the pasta al dente and dress it with a couple of tablespoons of oil.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, break the eggs, add a couple of pinches of salt, the grated Parmesan cheese, and beat with a fork.
Place a suitable baking pan for your air fryer inside the basket and line it with parchment paper or alternatively line the basket with parchment paper (I used this method). Grease the pan with a drizzle of oil, add the linguine, distribute them evenly, and carefully pour in the beaten eggs.
Cook the pasta frittata at 356°F (180°C) for 10/15 minutes. To be sure of the cooking, do the toothpick test and if necessary, extend the cooking for a few more minutes.
Once cooking is complete, let it cool for a few minutes and serve the pasta frittata. Enjoy your meal!
Storage and Tips
The pasta frittata in the air fryer can be stored in the fridge for 1/2 days in an airtight container.
If you want to make the frittata tastier, you can add some diced provolone or scamorza, diced cooked ham, or salami.
