Quick Puff Pastries with Jam and Apples in Air Fryer
  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Very Cheap
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 8 Pieces
  • Cooking methods: Air Frying
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 1 apple
  • to taste cinnamon (optional)
  • to taste apricot jam

Steps

To prepare the quick puff pastries with jam and apples in the air fryer, start by washing the apple, peeling it, removing the core, and slicing it thinly.

Unroll the puff pastry and cut it in half across the width, using a knife or a pastry wheel. Then, cut it lengthwise to obtain 6-8 rectangles, depending on the desired size.

Place a strip of jam on each rectangle and lay 3-4 apple slices on top. At this point, close the pastries: take the lower right corner and fold it towards the center, then do the same with the upper left corner. Ensure the puff pastry does not overlap.

Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for a couple of minutes. Arrange the pastries in the basket, slightly spaced apart, and cook for about 15 minutes. Be careful: times and temperatures may vary depending on the air fryer model.

And your apple and jam puff pastries are ready to serve! If you like, you can sprinkle them with a bit of powdered sugar.

Storage and Tips

You can store the quick puff pastries with jam and apples in the air fryer for 2-3 days in an airtight container.

Feel free to get creative with the filling according to your taste: you could, for instance, add some chopped nuts or change the type of jam.
