Black Pork Sausages with Potatoes and Honey Mushrooms

Black Pork Sausages with Potatoes and Honey Mushrooms, lightly spiced, are usually liked by everyone. A typically winter dish, to be served very hot, and accompanied by a good glass of red wine. I would say it’s an ultra-fast recipe, and delicious at the same time. I’ve noticed that even kids like it.

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 30 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 servings
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 8 sausages
  • 28 oz Potatoes
  • 18 oz Honey Mushrooms
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Take the sausages out of the refrigerator at least an hour before.
Peel the potatoes, wash them, dry them and cut them into fairly small pieces.
Sauté them in a non-stick pan with 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, stirring continuously so they don’t stick too much.
As soon as the potatoes start to color, add the sausages previously cut into pieces.
Halfway through cooking, add the mushrooms, adjust with salt and pepper, and continue cooking.
Serve this dish very hot, and if you want to make it even tastier, accompany it with slices of wholemeal bread and mustard.
