The Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar is truly a super quick recipe that will amaze you with its taste and aroma. It keeps for a long time, both in a well-sealed pantry and in the refrigerator…even for this preparation, I usually call my niece Matilde, who has now become my personal assistant. Together we make a lot, especially around the Christmas holidays, we pour it into small bottles and make many gifts… for years now, I always give culinary products, prepared with my hands or with those of my niece, to my friends, relatives, or acquaintances. I find they are the best presents!!!

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups Balsamic vinegar
- 3.5 oz 80% dark chocolate
- 1 1/2 tbsp whole cane sugar

How to Prepare Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar
To prepare Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar, organize your workspace with all the ingredients already measured, so you have everything at hand.
In a small, high-sided saucepan, pour the balsamic vinegar.
Add the whole cane sugar and bring to a boil over moderate heat.
Stir occasionally for about 3 minutes to allow the sugar to dissolve.
Break the dark chocolate bars into pieces, add them to the vinegar, and let them simmer, keeping the flame medium-low, for 5 minutes.
Let it cool completely at room temperature, then pour it into a glass bottle.
Let it rest for a few days, then use the Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar as a special condiment on any dish.

Tips and Variations:
Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar is perfect for dressing salads, meat, fish, but most importantly, accompany it with fruit.
If you think not all your guests will appreciate it, don’t pour it directly on the food, but bring the whole bottle to the table.
It keeps for a long time in the refrigerator without problems, but also at room temperature.
