Dessert with Ladyfingers and Blueberries

Dessert with Ladyfingers and Blueberries, an excellent dessert at the end of a meal but also ideal as a snack. It is prepared in no time, easily, and can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours. This way, in anticipation of guests, we can prepare in advance without any worries. If you don’t like mascarpone, I can offer my Spreadable Yogurt Cream, but you’ll need to prepare it a day in advance. Even ladyfingers can be replaced with pavesini, just as you do for tiramisu. However, there are no eggs in this recipe, but rather orange juice, and to finish, a nice portion of blueberries or your preferred fruit.

Dessert with Ladyfingers and Blueberries
  • Cost: Affordable
  • Rest time: 1 Hour
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 2 people
  • Cooking methods: Double boiler
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 8 ladyfingers
  • 5.3 oz mascarpone
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 oranges juice
  • to taste fresh blueberries

Tools

  • 4 Jars
  • 1 Small Pot
  • 1 Bowl stainless steel melting
  • 1 Bowl

Preparation

First, squeeze the two oranges and put the juice in a container. Break the dark chocolate directly into a bowl, and pour the freshly boiled cream over it. Stir until it is completely incorporated. While you dedicate yourself to the rest of the recipe, stir occasionally.

Pour the mascarpone, powdered sugar, a tablespoon of orange juice into a bowl and mix all the ingredients well. If it turns out too dense, add more juice but little by little.

Dip the ladyfingers in the orange juice, divide them in half, and immediately place them at the bottom of the single-serving jar. If desired, you can use a single mold, as if making a tiramisu.

Now that all the ingredients are ready, we can assemble our dessert. On the first layer of ladyfingers, add a layer of mascarpone, more ladyfingers, the chocolate cream, and finish with blueberries, as many as you like. Close the jar with the lid and put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, so it sets and the flavors meld.

Serve our Dessert with Ladyfingers and Blueberries, at the end of a meal or as a snack, taking it out of the refrigerator only 5 minutes before.

Advice

We can store our dessert in the refrigerator, but only for one day and sealed tightly. Not any longer, because the ladyfingers would become too soggy.

I have never tried freezing it.
