Dessert with Ladyfingers and Blueberries, an excellent dessert at the end of a meal but also ideal as a snack. It is prepared in no time, easily, and can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours. In anticipation of guests, we can prepare it calmly in advance. If you don’t like mascarpone, I can suggest my Spreadable Yogurt Cream, but you must prepare it a day in advance. Even ladyfingers can be replaced with pavesini, just like in tiramisu. However, this recipe does not use eggs but orange juice and, to complete it, a nice portion of blueberries or your preferred fruit.

- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 8 ladyfingers
- 5.3 oz mascarpone
- 3.5 oz dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 orange juice
- as needed fresh blueberries
Tools
- 4 Jars
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Bowl stainless steel fusion
- 1 Bowl
Preparation
First, squeeze the two oranges and place the juice in a container. Break the dark chocolate directly into a bowl, and pour over it the freshly boiled cream. Stir until fully incorporated. While attending to the rest of the recipe, stir occasionally.
Pour the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and one tablespoon of orange juice into a bowl and mix all the ingredients well. If it turns out too thick, add more juice but gradually.
Dip the ladyfingers in the orange juice, divide them in half, and immediately arrange them at the bottom of the single portion jar. You can use a single mold if you wish, as if you were making a tiramisu.
Now that all the ingredients are ready, we can assemble our dessert. On the first layer of ladyfingers, add a layer of mascarpone, then ladyfingers again, the chocolate cream, and finish with blueberries, as many as you like. Close the jar with the lid and refrigerate for at least an hour to set and flavor.
Serve our Dessert with Ladyfingers and Blueberries, after a meal or as a snack, taking it out of the fridge only 5 minutes before serving.
Tips
We can store our dessert in the refrigerator, but only for a day and tightly sealed. No longer, as the ladyfingers would become too soggy.
I have never tried freezing it.
