Gratinated Anchovies with Potatoes and Lemons

Ingredients

  • 28 oz anchovies
  • 14 oz potatoes
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 lemons
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes very well, slice them thinly, without peeling.
    Put them in a bowl with 1 and a half tablespoons of breadcrumbs, the garlic divided into 4 parts, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    Mix well, and then spread them inside a baking dish, lined with parchment paper.
    Bake in a fan oven, preheated to 400°F. for about 25 minutes.
    Meanwhile, in another bowl, put the lemon slices, including the peel, the anchovies, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and the remaining breadcrumbs.
    Mix well, and add everything to the potatoes, and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
    The anchovies cook quickly, and the lemon slices must remain intact.
    Serve the Baked Gratinated Anchovies with Potatoes and Lemons, just out of the oven.
