Today, I invite you to my kitchen to prepare Honey and Parmesan Chicken Slices in Air Fryer. Whenever I have very little time and I crave a dinner that feels much richer and elaborate without complications, I immediately think of my air fryer as a lifeline.
The first time I made them, it was to test if the crust would come out nicely golden even without a pan. The air fryer did much more because it made them super light yet flavorful. The irresistible combination of sweet, salty, and crunchy in this recipe is always a hit.
This is one of those recipes that inevitably falls into the category of official dinner saviors. Let me know if you try them in the comments.

- Cost: Economical
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 2 people
- Cooking methods: Air Frying
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Autumn, Winter
Ingredients
- 14 oz thick chicken breast slices
- 2 tbsps honey
- 3 tbsps grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt and pepper
- to taste dried oregano
Tools
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Oil Sprayer
- 1 Knife
- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 Plate
Preparation
I prepare the slices by taking them out of the fridge at least 40 minutes in advance to bring them to room temperature (in this case, I cut the chicken breast myself), so they do not suffer from thermal shock.
I spread honey on the surface of each slice, add grated Parmesan, and press it well to adhere. I flip the slice and do the same.
I preheat the air fryer for just a few minutes, place them inside the basket (preferably lined with perforated parchment paper), and season with salt, pepper, and extra virgin olive oil. I close and cook at 374°F for about 10 minutes, turning them halfway through and applying the same seasoning.
Once cooked, I serve my Honey and Parmesan Chicken Slices in Air Fryer directly on plates, piping hot.
Tips, Variations, and Storage
The chicken slices can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 days and can also be frozen. In both cases, remember to place them in an airtight container, preferably glass or ceramic.
For a fresher taste, add a few drops of lemon juice.
