Salad with Tuna, Avocado, and Boiled Eggs

The Salad with Tuna, Avocado, and Boiled Eggs is really simple to prepare but above all, very fresh to serve in these hot days. It is a complete dish, perfect as a lunch option, but also in the evening for those who want to cool down a bit. Of course, if you don’t like boiled eggs, you can always opt for grilled chicken, boiled shrimp, cheese, smoked salmon, and so on. The important thing is to have proteins, to make it a complete dish. Before serving this delicious salad, I sprinkle it with lemon zest, to give it an even fresher taste, but this is only if you like it, otherwise, you can easily skip it.

I made a small video for the procedure, to be seen on the pages of Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

How to Prepare Salad with Tuna, Avocado, and Boiled Eggs

First, boil the eggs so that they are cold enough when dressing the salad.

Cook them for about 8 minutes, then place them in cold water and once they are lukewarm, peel them.

Place them in a jar and put them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Wash the lettuce well, dry it, shred it into strips, and peel both the cucumber and the avocado, including the pit.

Cut both into pieces or slices, and toss them into a salad bowl or serving dish, along with the lettuce.

Add the pre-cooked corn, chopped boiled eggs, season everything with extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, and mix well.

Finally, add the tuna in oil, chopped walnuts, and mix them with the rest of the ingredients.

Serve your Salad with Tuna, Avocado, and Boiled Eggs immediately as it should be eaten very fresh.

If you like, you can sprinkle it with grated lemon zest, because in my opinion, it makes it fresher.

Tips, Variations, and Storage

This is a recipe that cannot be mixed in advance because the lettuce quickly loses all its freshness.

However, you can prepare the ingredients in advance, so that when it is time to serve, you just need to assemble it.

I recommend keeping them separate and inside airtight containers.

If you want to prepare in advance by cutting both the avocado and the cucumber into pieces, then rub them first with a little lemon.
