The Strawberry Salmon and Brie Crostini are truly delicious but above all, very quick to prepare. From tasty appetizers, they can also become real main courses by increasing the quantities. If you decrease them, they can also be served as finger food within a buffet. With the brie cheese base, you can unleash your creativity and fill them as you like, I just gave you an idea. To toast the bread, you don’t necessarily have to use the oven, as they come out great even on the pan or even in the microwave if it has a crispy function. So, start right away because they are very simple to make.
If you want to prepare a sort of balsamic vinegar glaze yourself, here are some directions: – Pour 10 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and 8 tablespoons of sugar into a small saucepan and mix – Set the burner to low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved – At this point, slightly increase the heat and let it thicken until you obtain a syrup – Remove from heat while still quite liquid, as it will thicken significantly as it cools.
For the procedure, I made a short video, available on the pages of Facebook Instagram and Pinterest

How to Prepare Strawberry Salmon and Brie Crostini
To prepare the Strawberry Salmon and Brie Crostini, organize the workspace with all the ingredients already measured.
This way you’ll have everything at hand, and your work will certainly be easier and faster.
Cut three slices of bread from a loaf, divide them in half and place them in a preheated oven at 392°F for about ten minutes.
Pay attention to the cooking, as the bread should be crispy on the surface but soft inside.
Once the crostini are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool on a cake rack.
Meanwhile, wash the strawberries, dry them and slice them not too thin, as you should feel them under your teeth when you bite into the crostini.
Also slice the brie to a thickness of about half an inch, and divide the salmon into three parts.
Now that everything is ready, you can assemble your delicious crostini and serve them directly on the table.
Place the cheese on each slice of bread, then distribute the salmon on some and the strawberries on others.
On the slices with salmon, add the capers that you have previously desalted, but brined ones are also fine.
Finally, add a handful of pink pepper.
Serve your Strawberry Salmon and Brie Crostini immediately, but before putting them on the table, drizzle a little balsamic vinegar glaze on each.
Tips, Variations, and Storage
The crostini cannot be assembled in advance, as the bread would become too soft.
However, you can prepare all the necessary ingredients and store them in the refrigerator for a few hours, ready to be assembled.
