AIR FRYER OR OVEN STUFFED PEPPERS WITH MEAT

Stuffed peppers with meat in air fryer or oven, are a delicious main course! I practically make them every week here at home, also because it doesn’t take much time in the end. And ever since I discovered the air fryer, a whole new world has opened up for me!

Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

  • 18 oz bell peppers (about 2 peppers)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1.75 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1.4 oz breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • to taste chopped parsley

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Grater
  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 Air fryer paper
  • 1 Knife

Preparation of Stuffed Peppers

  • 1 – In a large bowl, put the ground beef along with the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, and the egg.

    2 – Add the salt, pepper, garlic, nutmeg, and parsley.

    3 – Mix well with your hands until everything is combined.

  • 4 – The filling is ready, we can move on to cleaning the peppers. Cut the pepper into 3 or 4 pieces, remove the strings, seeds, and inedible parts.

    5 – Fill each piece with a bit of filling and once done, preheat the air fryer to 340°F.

    6 – Once hot, place parchment paper at the base and fill the basket with the stuffed peppers.

  • AIR FRYER COOKING: Spray a little oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Now cook them at 340°F for 20 – 25 minutes

    TRADITIONAL OVEN COOKING: Spray a little oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake in a preheated oven, at 355°F static, for 30 – 40 minutes.

NOTES

They can be stored for two days in the refrigerator.
