in ,

Apple and puff pastry donuts are treats that have been trending online lately. I wanted to try making them too, and I must say they are truly delicious and very easy to prepare. A crispy puff pastry shell that encloses a soft and juicy slice of apple, flavored with sugar and cinnamon… try them!

I leave you with other ideas where I use apples or puff pastry, try these too.

Preparation of apple donuts

  • First, wash and dry the apples well. I used them with the peel, but you can peel them if you prefer.

  • 1 – Cut the apples into slices about 0.4 inches thick, discarding the two bases (which are not to be thrown away but can be eaten as a snack!)

Notes

They keep for a couple of days under a glass dome.

I recommend eating them the same day, not only are they tastier, but also crispier.
