The lime semifreddo is easy and quick to prepare, and you only need three ingredients! I know, it’s not the classic patisserie semifreddo, but for those like me who are neither ice cream makers nor pastry chefs, this recipe is perfect. You will definitely impress your family and friends.

Quick Lime Semifreddo Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 6.7 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 lime (grated zest and juice)

  • 1 Grater
  • 1 Citrus juicer
  • 6 Muffin molds disposable

Preparation of the Quick Lime Semifreddo

  • Preparing the lime semifreddo is really quick. Start by thoroughly washing the lime, then grate the zest and squeeze the juice, set aside.

    In a bowl, whip the cream with an electric mixer, as it starts to thicken add the zest, lime juice, and condensed milk.

  • Continue mixing with the electric mixer until the cream is well whipped. Now take the disposable muffin molds and fill them. Smooth the surface and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours. They need to set well.

  • After the time has passed, we can serve them. Leave at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then remove them from the mold and place them on a small plate. Before serving, decorate with grated lime zest, a slice of lime, and mint leaves.

Notes

You can use less condensed milk for a slightly tangier taste

They keep in the freezer for at least 1 month
