The pistachio cream we need to use is the sweet one (like Nutella), but if we find pistachio paste (which does not contain sugar, so it’s not sweet), we need to add 1/4 cup more sugar (total 3/4 cup sugar).
We can prepare the cream the day before. It should be stored in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap.
When we go to use the cream, mix it with a whisk to make it creamy again. It tends to thicken a lot in the refrigerator.
If there’s any leftover, we can still store it in the refrigerator for up to three days, covered with plastic wrap.
