Ingredients for Puff Pastry and Peach Roses

  • 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 12 teaspoons peach jam
  • 2 nectarines

  • 1 Wheel cutter pizza cutter
  • 1 Teaspoon

Preparation of Puff Pastry and Peach Roses

  • 1 – Take a rectangular roll of puff pastry and divide it into 6 more or less equal parts with a wheel cutter

  • 2 – On each piece, then spread two teaspoons of peach jam and the peach slices which must be thin, otherwise it will be difficult to roll the dessert. Place the peaches with the rounded part protruding by a few millimeters.

  • 3 – Now lift the puff pastry remaining at the bottom and cover the peach slices. Roll without tightening too much and being careful not to let the peach escape.

  • 4 – Once rolled, place our roses inside a muffin tin

  • COOKING: Bake in a hot oven at 356°F for 40-45 minutes, being careful that the peach slices do not turn black.

    Once cooked, let them cool well and before serving, sprinkle with vanilla powdered sugar.

Notes

Puff pastry and peach roses keep for a couple of days, better if stored in the refrigerator
