Ingredients for the Salmon fillet in crust

  • 18 oz spinach, frozen
  • 10.5 oz salmon fillet
  • 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 1.4 oz butter
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
  • as needed milk (for brushing)

Preparation of the Salmon fillet in crust

  • First, take a pan and put the frozen spinach inside. Turn on the heat, keep it low, and slowly thaw them. Close with the lid and let it go for about ten minutes, keeping control and stirring occasionally.

  • Once thawed, take the spinach and squeeze them well, then put them back in the same pot, add the butter, season with garlic and salt, and sauté for a few minutes. Now let them cool well.

  • Take the roll of puff pastry, place the spinach in the center leaving the edges free. Place the salmon fillet on top of the spinach. Close the puff pastry forming a package and sealing all sides well.

  • Brush the pastry with the egg yolk beaten with a little milk, and place everything on a baking tray. Now bake in a preheated oven, at 356 degrees Fahrenheit static for 30-40 minutes, it should become golden. Once cooked, serve immediately.

Notes

If leftovers remain, store in the refrigerator for a few days. Reheat in the oven as needed.
