- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 4
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 1 package white bread
- to taste rosemary
- to taste dried oregano
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper (optional)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 4 slices chicken breast
- to taste peanut oil
Tools
- 2 Bowls
- 1 Immersion Blender
- 1 Frying Pan
Steps
Let’s start by preparing the panko, remove the crust from the white bread, then cut the crumb into not too large pieces, blend it with an immersion blender into crumbs, at this point pour the crumbled bread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and toast in a preheated fan oven at 250°F for about 10 minutes, let it cool completely before use.
Once the panko is ready, pour it into a bowl and add the rosemary, oregano, salt, and pepper; the amount of spices depends on our personal taste. Mix well.
Now in another bowl or a deep plate pour a drizzle of oil and moisten each slice of chicken breast on both sides. Bread each slice one by one in the panko and then start frying.
For frying, use a non-stick pan and peanut oil, once ready place the slices on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Our Panko Chicken is ready to be enjoyed, accompanied by a fresh salad and some tasty sauces.
