Peppers in Air Fryer

Peppers in air fryer, a very simple way to prepare one of the best side dishes of classic Italian cuisine. Using the air fryer, you will save oil and time, because while it cooks them, you can focus on other tasks. I cook many things in the air fryer, I find it much more convenient than the oven and for side dishes like peppers, eggplants, and zucchinis, I prefer the result.

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 People
  • Cooking methods: Air Frying
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Spring, Summer, and Fall

Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste salt
  • to taste vegetable oil

Tools

  • 1 Baking Dish Ceramic Baking Dish
  • 1 Knife Knife
  • 1 Wooden Spoon

Steps

The first thing we need to do is wash and dry the peppers thoroughly.

  • Proceed by removing the stem, seeds, and internal filaments, then cut them into pieces or strips, as preferred. The important thing for even cooking is that the pieces are all more or less the same size.

  • Now place the chopped peppers in the baking dish, add the garlic clove, salt, and a drizzle of oil. Stir well to distribute the dressing.

  • My air fryer has a specific program for vegetables, which corresponds to a temperature of 320°F; set the temperature and cook our peppers in the air fryer for about 20/25 minutes, making sure to turn them at least 3 times during the cooking cycle. Now we can enjoy our delicious side dish.
