Air Fryer Baked Apple with Greek Yogurt, Walnuts, and Cinnamon

The air fryer baked apple is a very quick, healthy, and delicious snack, enriched with Greek yogurt, walnuts, cinnamon, and honey. They literally prepare in 5 minutes and are super quick to cook thanks to the air fryer, but of course, they can also be made in the oven (keeping in mind that in this case, besides the slightly longer cooking time, the preheating time of the oven must necessarily be added). In the procedure below you will find both the air fryer and oven cooking methods.

This snack is so delicious and easy that once you’ve tried it, you’ll always make it again: try it to believe! A quick idea, healthy, and with very few ingredients, to make even at the last minute. As an alternative to walnuts, any other nuts are fine if you don’t like them or are allergic.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt

Steps

  • Wash an apple, dry it, and cut it in half; remove the core and place it in the basket of the air fryer or on a baking tray if you will bake it in the oven. Cook without adding anything at 356°F for 15 minutes in the air fryer, or at 374°F for 25 minutes in a hot oven.

  • Once ready, take the two halves of the apple and add a tablespoon of Greek yogurt on each part; also add a sprinkle of cinnamon, some walnuts, and honey. And here is this extremely easy and quick snack ready. Enjoy your meal!

Tips for you

✔ Instead of walnuts, you can use other nuts of your choice, such as almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, or raisins.

✔ You can replace the honey with jam; in this case, I recommend choosing one without added sugars, to avoid it being too sweet.

✔ Classic plain yogurt or alternatively ricotta is also fine.
