Ingredients
- 3 sheets carasau bread (large)
- 6 oz stracchino
- 1.75 oz cooked ham
- to taste grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
Tools
- Air Fryer
Steps
Line the air fryer basket with a sheet of parchment paper; if using the oven, take a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.
Take 3 large sheets of carasau bread; break them into pieces with your hands (trying not to make them too small) and dip them one at a time in a bowl with water for one second. Transfer the carasau bread onto the tray or the air fryer basket, placing each piece next to the other to form the base of the focaccia. At this point, top with stracchino, placing a few teaspoons across the surface, and then a nice slice of cooked ham. Cover with more moistened carasau bread, making a second layer, and top again with the remaining stracchino and cooked ham. Finally, finish with a last layer of moistened carasau bread and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
AIR FRYER COOKING
As you would have seen following the procedure, for cooking in the air fryer you only need to put the parchment paper in the basket and assemble the focaccia directly inside, without adding a tray. Cook at 356°F for 10 minutes.OVEN COOKING
For oven cooking, place the tray on the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake at 374°F for about 20 minutes.Take out the focaccia and cut it: it will be super crispy on the outside and soft and creamy inside. Enjoy your meal!
