I’ll reveal how to make special and delicious chicken slices: we’ll accompany them with this super creamy sauce and, believe me, you’ll love them. We’ll cook the chicken slices in an air fryer: this will allow us to get juicy and succulent slices inside, unlike pan or grill cooking which tends to dry them out. Of course, you can choose to cook them this way too, especially if you don’t have an air fryer.
To make the sauce, we’ll use a raw zucchini and blend it with other ingredients. Yes, zucchini can be eaten raw and are rich in nutritional properties, even in the peel (you’ll find this information below in the “advice for you”). Alternatively, you can cook the zucchini in a pan or heat the cream once it’s ready.
These creamy chicken slices will be loved by everyone, and they are prepared in just a few minutes. This is a way to make simple chicken or turkey slices delicious. They are also very light, thanks to the zucchini cream, water, basil, and extra virgin olive oil. You will love them too!

- 14 oz chicken slices

- 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil

To prepare this very easy recipe, first, we make the creamy sauce. Wash a zucchini thoroughly, remove the ends, and cut it into cubes. Put it in a blender and add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, a dash of pepper, fresh basil, and a cup of natural water. Blend for a few minutes to obtain a cream. If you want it at room temperature, leave it as is; alternatively, you can pre-cook the zucchini (in this case, don’t add water) or heat the cream directly in a saucepan or the microwave.
Place the chicken slices directly in the air fryer’s basket and cook them at 375°F for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through. The time depends on the thickness of the meat.
When ready, place them on a plate and add salt to taste. Spread the zucchini cream on top and serve.
Advice for you
✔ To get a warm cream, you can cook the zucchini in a pan (in this case, don’t add water to the blender) or heat the cream in a saucepan or microwave.
✔ Raw zucchini can be eaten and have excellent amounts of nutrients, antioxidants, and fibers, and they are rich in minerals, including magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and iron.
✔ Instead of chicken, you can use turkey.
✔ The cooking time for chicken slices depends on the thickness of the meat. I always cook them in 8-10 minutes, so check well during cooking and remove or extend by a few minutes if necessary.
✔ No need to add oil during cooking!
✔ It’s necessary to cook the chicken slices directly in the air fryer’s basket without trays or parchment paper: this way they will cook thanks to the air circulating 360 degrees from bottom to top, allowing for ideal air frying. Trays or parchment paper would block the air circulating within the air fryer in this case.
