Sandy Potatoes in Air Fryer

The sandy potatoes are delicious, crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. They are made with few ingredients and are a variation of classic baked potatoes. They will be much more flavorful and have a “sandy” effect given by the breadcrumbs and parmesan.

The preparation of sandy potatoes is really easy, once you try them you’ll make them often and they are perfect to enhance your dinners or lunches. Sandy potatoes can be cooked in an air fryer or in the oven; below you will find both cooking methods.

Tips for you

✔ For this recipe, it is necessary to cook the potatoes directly in the basket of the air fryer without parchment paper: this way they will cook thanks to the air circulating 360 degrees from below to above, allowing for ideal air frying.

✔ I recommend using a BBQ mesh to place directly in the non-stick basket of your air fryer: the mesh protects the non-stick surface of the basket (which will remain as new) and allows the food to cook evenly, letting the air pass through 360 degrees. You can find it on Amazon by clicking here.

✔ Alternatively, you can use perforated parchment paper, which allows air to flow from below to above. You can find it on Amazon by clicking here: link.

✔ For this recipe, I used the air fryer COSORI 4.7, which you can find on Amazon by clicking here.
