Sausage and Stracchino Bruschetta – in Air Fryer or Oven

The sausage and stracchino bruschetta is amazing, prepared literally in 5 minutes and has an indescribable taste. They will be super crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside, a delight with every bite. This recipe is made literally with 3 ingredients, and is ideal as a quick dinner/lunch, even when you have little time, or during the holidays.

The sausage and stracchino bruschetta can be cooked in the oven or air fryer, for an even faster cook. Below you will find both cooking methods. I assure you that once you try them, you will make them more often, they are really delicious and everyone will love them.

Ingredients

  • 6.4 oz sausage
  • 6 oz stracchino cheese
  • 6 slices bread

Steps

  • Remove the casing from the sausage and place it in a bowl. Add the stracchino cheese and mix until you have a creamy mixture.

  • Slice the bread. Spread the creamy sausage and stracchino mixture on each slice.

  • Place the topped bread slices in the basket of the air fryer and cook at 375°F for about 10-12 minutes, or place them on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

Tips for you

✔ This is a really simple recipe, so there are few additional instructions. I recommend using rustic bread.

✔ Increase the quantities, multiplying them, to make more bruschettas.

✔ For this recipe, it is necessary to cook the bruschettas directly in the basket of the air fryer without parchment paper: this way they will cook thanks to the air passing 360 degrees from bottom to top, allowing for ideal air frying.

✔ I recommend using the BBQ mesh to place directly in the non-stick basket of your air fryer: the mesh protects the non-stick coating of the basket (which will remain like new) and allows the food to cook evenly, letting the air pass 360 degrees. You can find it on Amazon by clicking here.
