Ingredients
- 1 package phyllo dough (11 sheets)
- 1 pear
- 5.3 oz brie
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- leaves mint (to taste)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- to taste honey
Tools
- Air fryer
Steps
First, slice the pear and the brie (camembert is fine too). Crinkle each phyllo sheet by folding it accordion style.
Place a sheet of parchment paper in the air fryer basket or, if using the oven, take a pan about 8 inches in diameter. Arrange the crinkled phyllo sheets on top, trying to place them all close together. There are no rules, so be creative!
Drizzle a bit of EVO oil over the phyllo. Arrange the slices of pears and brie between the folds of the phyllo.
Meanwhile, prepare the cream to add to the savory pie: in a bowl, beat two eggs, add a pinch of salt, pepper, thyme (if you like), and a tablespoon of Greek yogurt (BELOW in the tips you’ll find how to substitute the yogurt), then mix well.
Add the cream to the savory pie and cook in the air fryer at 392°F for 9-10 minutes or in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes (check that it is well browned).
Serve the savory pie with honey and fresh mint leaves. It will be out of this world: try it! Enjoy your meal.
Tips for you
✔ You can substitute Greek yogurt with 100 ml of fresh cream (unsweetened), 80 g of melted butter, or 100 ml of soy milk.
✔ Instead of brie, you can use camembert cheese or, for an even bolder taste, gorgonzola.
✔ The phyllo dough savory pie can be stored in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
✔ For this recipe, I used the COSORI 4.7 air fryer which you can find on Amazon here.
