Ingredients for Chocolate Cake with Chestnut Flavor
- 1 1/4 cups chestnut flour
- 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 7 tbsp butter
- 1 cups walnuts
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs (at room temperature)
- 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 chocolate (half bar)
- as needed white chocolate (in chips)

Preparation of the Chocolate Cake with Chestnut Flavor
The very first thing to do and which takes a little more time is to melt the butter at room temperature, once done proceed by turning on the oven at 350°F in static mode. Take the bowl where we left the butter and start working it with the sugar, continue by adding one tablespoon at a time of all-purpose flour after sifting it well. Pour in the milk and still with a tablespoon at a time add the chestnut flour, at this point the dough is very compact, so let’s add one egg at a time and the 3 tablespoons of cocoa.
Now take the cake pan, place the paper in the molds, and finish our dough by adding the walnuts and the packet of baking powder. Pour the mixture into the molds up to two-thirds full. Then take the half milk chocolate bar, I cut each square into 4 pieces and placed two small pieces in the center of the cakes, while I placed 4 chocolate chips in each cake. Bake our chocolate cakes for about 25 minutes. Before serving them, you can also dust them with powdered sugar; I preferred to leave them as they are for a simple aesthetic taste of brown contrasts.
