My blog was missing the recipe for Nua Cake with Cream. Many years ago, this cake was called “The Queen of the Web” for various reasons: it is very good, it’s spectacular, and it can be prepared with many cream variations. In my case, I chose the Nua Cake with Cream because it reminds me a lot of my childhood. The snacks that Grandma Licia prepared for me and my cousins. The homemade cream was never missing because she was also fond of it and used the excuse of the grandchildren to always keep some eggs on hand.
The first time I prepared this cake, I also took photos, but I’ll spare you those, leaving you the new ones that I like and make me proud of the journey I’m making.
This cake over the years has given me wonderful emotions regarding view numbers, but the biggest surprise was seeing how many people remade it at home, trusting me and my recipe.
Writing me messages, comments, shares to thank me and show me the results obtained, all very similar to mine and really satisfied. - 2 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 packet Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2/3 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 cup Sugar (or 6 tablespoons)
- 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 packet Vanilla (or vial)

Preparation of the Nua Cake with Cream
The first thing to do to prepare this cake is the cream. Therefore, take a small pot, break the two eggs, and work them with sugar using an electric whisk. Now add the vanilla packet or vial and then gradually the flour, continuing to work to avoid forming lumps.
Now place the pot on the stove and add the milk slowly, never stopping to mix the mixture, use a hand whisk or a spoon. The cream must reach the right density; it usually takes about ten minutes.
Once the cream is well thickened, turn off the heat and work it again for a few minutes. Then cover it with a cloth and let it cool at room temperature, or you can put it in the fridge as I did because shortly after I would continue with the preparation of the nua cake with cream.
Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C) in static mode. Now take a large bowl and start working the four eggs with sugar, add a pinch of salt, the flour, milk, oil, and finally the baking powder packet. Be careful not to deflate the egg foam.
Now take a 9.5-inch (24 cm) baking pan, line it with parchment paper, or you can grease it with vegetable oil as I did. Now pour the base of our nua cake and then, with a spoon, add the cream on top, trying not to make the surface too even.
Bake for about 40 minutes, always do the toothpick test before turning off the oven. The Nua Cake with cream must be completely cold before being removed from the pan, at least 5 hours. You can then dust it with powdered sugar and serve it.

Storage:
You can store the Nua Cake with cream in a cake container for even 4 or 5 days, but I think you’ll finish it sooner!
