Air Fryer French Fries, Crispy and Light with Little Oil.

Crispy and Light Air Fryer French Fries

Fries, but light, the advantage of the air fryer is exactly this, a healthy kitchen: with a few sprays of oil, you get the identical result of fries immersed in oil: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

These air fryer fries are then particularly appetizing and tasty due to the presence of paprika (optional), great to enjoy as a tantalizing appetizer or quick side dish.

This is a tried and tested recipe, try it and you won’t regret it!

The benefits of air fryer cooking are numerous: you don’t need to preheat the oven, cooking is more quick, economical, and healthy (very little fat is needed), you don’t dirty many pots and dishes, and it doesn’t produce smoke or odors.

I must note that the temperature and cooking times are generally indicative, as much depends on your type of air fryer, however, the recipes on my Blog are all carefully and rigorously tested by me first, so more than tried and tested. In any case, I advise you to check the cooking every now and then to better adapt the times and temperature to your fryer.

To cook without dirtying your air fryer I find these Air Fryer Baking Paper Liners, WITHOUT holes, but very light, so the hot air circulates just fine, I found them ideal for very greasy foods or foods that dirty the fryer a lot. They are disposable, resistant to oil and water, non-stick, they don’t burn, and can also be used in a regular oven.

I often also use this convenient perforated parchment paper for air fryer, non-stick and easy to clean, it can also be used in a conventional oven.

  • Crispy and Light Air Fryer French Fries

Pour the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer basket, lined with perforated parchment paper, spray a little extra virgin olive oil on the surface, and a bit more breadcrumbs, to better gratinate the potatoes.

My extra virgin olive oil spray with dispenser, is also cold-pressed, so it is an excellent and high-quality oil (see FAQ at the bottom of the article).

Try to arrange the potatoes in the basket, so as not to overlap them.

Set the air fryer temperature to 356°F and program the cooking for about 25 minutes.

At the end of cooking, adjust the salt, transfer the potatoes to a serving plate, and serve them hot and crispy.

Shopping Tips!!!

Personally, I get along very well with the Cosori Air Fryer, with a spacious 5.7-liter basket, an optimal circulation of hot air that makes the foods: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

A healthier way to cook, because it separates and captures excess fat (healthy and tasty dishes with up to 97% less fat). It halves cooking times compared to a conventional oven, with significant economic and time savings. Finally, all the individual components are easily removable and dishwasher safe. Highly recommended!

To prepare this recipe, I used the convenient perforated air fryer parchment paper, non-stick and easy to clean, it can also be used in a conventional oven.

I often also use these very useful trays of BPA Free Air Fryer Baking Paper, disposable, without holes that don’t dirty the fryer, but the hot air still circulates because they are very thin. In addition, they are resistant to oil and water, non-stick, they don’t burn, and can also be used in a regular oven.

Finally, if you want to keep your air fryer clean and protected from scratches and abrasions (e.g. from tongs), these reusable, heat-resistant non-stick grill mats are very useful.
