Nutella cookie mug cake
The nutella cookie mug cake, a large Nutella cookie ready in 15 minutes!! If you get an irresistible craving for sweetness, try it, it’s super quick and easy to prepare and the Nutella stays creamy even after baking.
You can prepare the mug cake (or cookie cake) the day before, put it in the fridge and then bake it the next day.
The mug cake is perfect to enjoy for breakfast or as a snack, by increasing the quantities you can also make a large cookie cake to prepare for parties and birthdays.
If you have time, letting the mug cake rest in the fridge makes it even more crumbly and delicious,
The cookie mug cake remains soft and creamy for several days, up to a week, if properly covered.
You need a single-portion mold about 4-5 inches in diameter or if you have an oven-safe mug for mug cake (cake in a mug), it’s perfect.

Ingredients for the Nutella Cookie Mug Cake
- 1 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 egg (whole)
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsps Brown Sugar (optional, I use light Demerara)
- 3 1/2 tbsps Butter (softened)
- 1 1/2 tsps Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- g Powdered Vanilla Sugar (optional)
- Half tbsp Vanilla Extract (about 7 g)
- 1 pinch Salt

- Bowl
- Mixer electric Bosch, 350 W power
- Parchment paper
- Molds single portion, with removable bottom
Preparation of the Nutella Cookie Mug Cake
Take a bowl and pour the whole egg and granulated sugar, beat quickly and then add the flour, softened butter, brown sugar, and baking powder.
Mix everything together and pour half of the batter into a single-portion mold about 5 inches, lined with wet and squeezed parchment paper.
Place a tablespoon of Nutella in the center of the batter and cover with the remaining batter. Place chocolate chips on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10/15 minutes, the time depends on your oven, do the toothpick test.
Unmold the mug cake after 10 minutes, and cover with powdered vanilla sugar, better served warm.
Notes and Tips
If desired, instead of Nutella, you can also use jam, Kinder bars, or white chocolate squares.
