Nutella cookie tartlet
Nutella cookie tartlet, a large Nutella cookie ready in 15 minutes !!
If you get an irresistible craving for something sweet, try it — this Nutella tartlet is super quick and easy to make and the Nutella stays creamy even after baking.
You can prepare the tartlet (or cookie cake) the day before, store it in the fridge and bake it the next day.
The tartlet is ideal to enjoy for breakfast or as a snack,
By increasing the quantities, you can also make a large cookie cake for parties, gatherings and birthdays
If you have time, letting the tartlet rest in the fridge makes it even crumblier and better,
The Nutella cookie tartlet stays soft and creamy for several days, even up to a week if properly covered.
You need a single-portion mold about 4–4.7 inches in diameter, or if you have a baking mug for a mug cake (cake in a cup) that’s fine too.

Preparation of the Nutella cookie tartlet
Take a bowl and add the whole egg and the granulated sugar, beat quickly and then add the flour, the softened butter (at room temperature), the brown sugar and the baking powder.
Mix everything together and pour half of the batter into a single-portion mold about 4.7 inches in diameter, lined with dampened and wrung-out parchment paper.
Place a tablespoon of Nutella in the center of the batter and cover with the remaining batter.
Arrange chocolate chips on the surface.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 10/15 minutes; the time depends on your oven, do the toothpick test.
Remove the tartlet from the mold after 10 minutes, dust with vanilla powdered sugar and serve preferably warm.
Notes and Tips
If you prefer, you can replace the Nutella with jam, Kinder bars, or pieces of white chocolate.
Shopping Tips !!!
I quickly prepared the tartlet with the excellent Bosch 4-speed electric hand mixer (+ turbo) with 350 W of power, which you can find at a great price on Amazon.
To bake this tartlet I used this a 4-inch (10 cm) single-portion springform pan or you can use a mug cake cup; Le Creuset ones are beautiful and oven- and microwave-safe.
What is a Mug Cake?
A mug cake (cake in a mug) is a simple single-portion cake that is cooked in a few minutes in the microwave or in the oven.
The particular thing is that you don’t use classic molds or the usual cake tin — the batter and the baking happen directly in a mug, the classic large American coffee cup.
