Super Fast and Soft Apple Fritters in Air Fryer

How to get comfort food in a few minutes? These super fast and light apple fritters, cooked in an air fryer, without frying, are identical to the fried ones, but lighter and healthy, they will win you over at the first bite.

Perfect for Carnival, but delicious anytime, all year round.

These apple fritters in the air fryer, are really super soft and light, I didn’t believe it was possible, but just look at the photos to realize that it is possible to still get soft and fluffy apple rings, without them having to be greasy and soaked in oil.

The advantages of cooking in an air fryer are numerous: no need to preheat the oven, the cooking is faster, cheaper, and healthier (requires very little fat) you don’t dirty many pots and pans, and it doesn’t create smoke or odors

Please note that the temperature and cooking times are approximately indicative, as much depends on your type of air fryer however, the recipes on my Blog are all previously and rigorously tested by me, so much tested, in any case, I recommend checking the cooking from time to time, to best adapt times and temperature to your fryer.

To cook these apple fritters – without dirtying my air fryer – I used these very useful Air Fryer Parchment Paper Pans, WITHOUT holes, but very thin, so the hot air circulates just fine, I find them ideal for very greasy or dripping foods (like the batter of these fritters). They are disposable, oil, and water-resistant, non-stick, don’t burn, and can also go in a regular oven, you can find them on Amazon (see Shopping Tips below).

I often also use this very convenient perforated parchment paper FOR AIR FRYER, non-stick easy to clean, can also be used in the classic oven, you always find them on Amazon at a great price (see Shopping Tips below).

Shopping Tips !!!

Personally, I am very satisfied with the Cosori air fryer, with a large basket of 5.7 liters, optimal hot air circulation that makes foods: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside

A healthier way to cook, because it separates and captures excess fat (healthy and tasty dishes with up to 97% less fat). Halves cooking times compared to a traditional oven, with significant economic and time savings. Finally, all individual components are easily removable and dishwasher safe. Highly recommended!

These very useful Air Fryer Parchment Paper Pans, disposable, without holes don’t dirty the fryer, but the hot air circulates just as well because they are very thin. In addition, they are oil and water-resistant, non-stick, don’t burn, and can also be used in a regular oven, you can always find them on Amazon.

I often also use this convenient perforated parchment paper for air fryer, non-stick easy to clean, can also be used in the classic oven, on Amazon at a great price.

Moreover, if you want to keep your air fryer clean and at the same time, protected from scratches and abrasions (e.g., from tongs), these Reusable non-stick heat-resistant racks.

This apple corer with sharp blades and automatic ejection is very handy.

FAQ (Questions and Answers)

  • Which parchment paper to choose for an air fryer?

If using the air fryer for foods that drip (like batter), it’s better to use unperforated parchment paper pans (the paper is very light and the air and heat circulate just the same).
If the foods to be cooked in the air fryer are dry and do not drip, it is preferable to use perforated parchment paper.
