If you’re looking for a fresh, delicious drink ready to go viral in your kitchen, the iced pistachio milk, also known as Iced Pistachio Latte or Dubai Chocolate Latte, is for you. This preparation, inspired by both iced coffee and the famous Dubai chocolate bar that took social media by storm, combines the rich and aromatic taste of pistachio with the strength of espresso.
The result is an iced latte to be served cold with ice, perfect for refreshing with style. To complete it all, a soft pistachio cream foam and, for those with a sweet tooth, a crunchy kataifi topping and chocolate sauce. A real bar treat… but homemade!

How to prepare Iced Pistachio Milk with Coffee and Crunchy Kataifi
Prepare the coffee: use an espresso machine or, if using instant coffee, just dissolve it in hot water. Pour the pistachio cream on the bottom of the glass and, using the milk frother, decorate the walls of the glass with pistachio.
Add plenty of ice. Pour the cold milk over the ice and then the coffee.
Prepare the cold foam: in a bowl mix cold milk, pistachio cream and, if you want, cream and vanilla syrup. Whisk with a hand whisk or a milk frother until you have a thick and frothy cream. Pour the foam over the surface of the milk.
If you like, you can garnish with crunchy kataifi (toasted in a pan or oven for 3-5 minutes) and a drizzle of chocolate sauce or melted chocolate microwaved and poured over the glass.
Serve the Iced Pistachio Latte well chilled.
Storage
It’s best consumed immediately to appreciate its freshness and layering. However, you can prepare the foam in advance and store it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Variations
You can replace the coffee with instant barley or decaffeinated coffee for a caffeine-free version.
For a vegan version, use plant-based milk (almond or oat) and plant-based cream.
Don’t like kataifi? Try with pistachio granules or toasted coconut.
Tips
The quality of the pistachio cream makes a difference: prefer those with 100% pistachio or a high percentage of nuts. You can also make it at home following our recipe.
