Simo and Cicci recommend

You can store the red lentil burgers in the fridge, tightly sealed in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Alternatively, you can also freeze them.

You can add spices of your choice to the mixture, such as turmeric, curry, paprika, chili pepper, or various seeds such as chia seeds, flax seeds, etc.

As an alternative to the oven, you can cook the burgers in an air fryer for half the cooking time.

For pan cooking, we recommend adding a boiled potato to the mixture to make it softer and prevent the burgers from breaking during cooking.
