Simo and Cicci’s Tips
Stollen muffins can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
You can also freeze them for up to 3 months. Once defrosted, just heat them for a few seconds in the microwave, and they’ll be as good as fresh.
You can add dried apricots, candied cherries, chopped pistachios, grated lemon or orange zest, candied fruits, etc., to the dough.
The uniqueness of the Stollen muffins lies in the spice mix that gives flavor and aroma to these sweets, but feel free to add the mix you prefer or omit the spices you don’t like.
