Cookies quick recipe to easily prepare them at home. Cookies are American-origin cookies with a typical round shape, usually enriched with chocolate chips and sometimes raisins, but the essential ingredients for making cookies are brown sugar and baking soda. Butter is used in the dough, but for those lactose intolerant, butter can be replaced in equal quantities with margarine and the taste will still be great. As always, before suggesting a variant, I tried it and they were even more liked!
I have tried several recipes for making cookies and I can guarantee excellent results following this recipe. I define this recipe as quick because it does not require dough resting times. The cookie dough is so good that every time I make these cookies, I eat part of it raw, and the taste is unmatched.
If you love original recipes, I suggest this one that requires rest times in the freezer but is equally convenient because you can prepare them in advance and bake them frozen.
- Difficulty: Very Easy

Ingredients for the dough
The ingredients for cookies are simple but very important is the use of brown sugar which gives the characteristic flavor.
- 1 egg
- 9 tbsp butter or margarine (partially melted)
- 9 tbsp brown sugar
- 9 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 packet vanillin (or vanilla flavor)
Tools for the dough
You can knead your cookies directly on the table, but I recommend the stand mixer for quick and easy dough.
- 1 Stand Mixer Howork
Steps
The quick cookie dough is very simple, just put all the ingredients in the stand mixer starting with the partially melted butter not to raise the dough temperature.
Place flour, egg, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and baking soda in the stand mixer and start it. While the dough is mixing, add the partially melted butter (I put it in the microwave for 30″), dark chocolate chips, and finally the vanillin.
Quickly run the stand mixer just to mix the ingredients, do not heat the dough! If you watch the video above, you’ll see how easy it is to knead.
Do not mix the dough more than necessary to avoid raising the temperature which would make it sticky.
Take parts of the dough with a teaspoon, form mounds of dough taller than they are wide (because during baking, cookies tend to flatten), place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Place your cookies well apart and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 12 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the oven and don’t worry if they are soft to the touch, they will become crispy as they cool; you can take advantage of this soft consistency to adjust the shape of the cookies with a glass (see the step in the video).
You can store the cookies you have prepared in airtight containers for several days and they will retain their flavor.
