Delicious No-Bake Balls

Delicious no-bake balls: the fresh and irresistible treat you can prepare in just a few minutes!
I really felt like having something tasty to keep in the fridge, ready for any sweet indulgence moment… so I decided to use a leftover bundt cake I had in the pantry and transform it into these delightful balls covered in white chocolate.
The mixture is prepared by combining the crumbled cake with a bit of hazelnut cream: soft, delicious, and very easy to shape. If you want to make it even creamier, you can add a splash of milk or one or two tablespoons of cream cheese.
Once the balls are formed, just let them rest in the freezer for a couple of hours, then dip them in the melted white chocolate… and you’re done!
In just a few minutes, you’ll have a fresh and exquisite treat to keep in the fridge, perfect to enjoy after meals or with coffee. Everyone will love them, both adults and kids!

  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Rest time: 2 Hours
  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Portions: 12 balls
  • Cooking methods: No cooking
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz bundt cake (or other cake)
  • 2.6 oz hazelnut cream
  • 5.3 oz white chocolate

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Mold

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, crumble the cake well.
Add the hazelnut cream and mix with a spoon or with your hands until you get a homogeneous dough.
If the dough seems too compact to you, you can soften it by adding a splash of milk or 1 or 2 tablespoons of cream cheese.
Once the dough is ready, take small portions and shape them into walnut-sized balls, helping with your hands.
You can place the balls on a plate or, for more convenience, use a cake pop mold (optional)

  • For better results, let the balls rest in the freezer for about two hours. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in the microwave (in short intervals) or in a double boiler. Once melted, dip the balls one at a time in the chocolate, using a fork to coat them well. Then place them on a plate lined with parchment paper. Being well chilled, the chocolate will set in a few minutes. When all the balls are ready, we can store them in the fridge: they will always be ready to enjoy whenever we crave a treat!

NOTES

For a softer dough, you can add a splash of milk or 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese.

You can decorate the surface with colored sprinkles, coconut flakes, hazelnut or pistachio crumbs for an extra touch.
If you prefer, you can use dark or milk chocolate instead of white chocolate.
Store the balls in an airtight container in the fridge to keep them fresh and delicious even in the following days.
They are also perfect to serve in paper cups: ideal for buffets or parties!
